The victim worked at the JQ Barber Shop at 112 E. Stewart Avenue, where customers have individual rooms for haircuts. Police believe that the shooter walked into a specific room on Wednesday to find the victim, a 43-year-old man who was identified as the owner of the barber shop. His name has not been disclosed by authorities yet. Arriving at the scene after being dispatched at around 5:09 p.m., police officers immediately called for the support of Central Pierce Fire and Rescue, who later determined that the victim was dead, according to a police update published on Facebook the same night....

In case you didn’t know… The Ballon d’Or winner was finally revealed on Monday in a star-studded night at the Grand Palais in the French capital. Croatia and Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric predictably took the coveted prize home after the near-perfect year he has had. The Los Blancos star swooped in all the awards including the UEFA Best Player of the Year award and the Best FIFA Men’s Player award for his role in Real Madrid’s third consecutive UEFA Champions League win as well as his leading Croatia to their first FIFA World Cup final in their history....

Modric is the current holder of football’s most prestigious individual accolade having brought an end to the Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo duopoly of the last decade, although the Croatian has failed to replicate his 2018 form throughout the early part of the year.
